Recently, Kiyosaki wrote an article about silver, but a lame article filled with generalities and hypocrisy. Say whatever sells more copies of Rich Dad, Poor Dad. His stories from childhood are his favorite selling strategy; his books are filled with entertaining stories. His articles and books amuse, but void of any substantial educational value.

Watch out, the world is about to change. One article that caught my attention was on gold. Thinking we were smart, a fellow pilot named Ted and I flew from our carrier across 25 miles of sea into enemy territory.
I do not own gold and silver to make money. They are insurance, a hedge against the stupidity of the elites… and myself. I have insurance on my car, just in case someone hits me, or in case I hit someone else. Gold and silver serve a similar purpose. I do not trust the elites.
About two weeks before reading Fake by Robert Kiyosaki, who also wrote Rich Dad, Poor Dad , I had sold my KrugerRands to pay for the installation of solar panels for my home and office. He argues, as do many gold bugs, that the decision to de-link the US dollar from the gold standard in has allowed the US government to print money to solve their trade deficit problems, introduced inflation into the system, and started the long-term decline of the US dollar. He is clear that gold is not an investment. For him it is purely an insurance policy against a financial meltdown. Kiyosaki still remains a firm believer in property for investment returns. He covers some of the basics from his original Rich Dad, Poor Dad book. I found his book, which includes some of his spiritual beliefs as well as his financial philosophy, disjointed and repetitive, and at times contradictory.
Kiyosaki's seminars in the US and Canada are conducted in collaboration with a company called Whitney Information Network and are contracted out to local companies as franchisees in other countries. Kiyosaki is the author of more than 26 books, including the international self-published personal finance Rich Dad Poor Dad series of books which has been translated into 51 languages and sold over 27 million copies worldwide.
